Rent kayaks, paddleboards, or fishing boats. The marina is a 10-minute drive from the cabin.
Castle Rock Trail is our favorite — moderate difficulty with stunning views. Alpine Pedal Path is great for biking.

Stater Bros and Vons are in the Village area. For a larger selection, stock up in the valley before coming up the mountain — prices are lower too!
Check Caltrans for road conditions before heading up. Tire chains may be required in winter — you can buy or rent them at the bottom of the mountain.
There's firewood in the shed! Just use the matches on the mantle. Please close the flue before leaving and don't leave fires unattended.
Bears are active in the area! Please keep all trash in the bear-proof bin by the driveway. Never leave food or trash outside.
